At Glowbug’s Playhouse, we are dedicated to providing play opportunities for families that promote a child’s development and foster a love of learning & curiosity. It is our goal to supplement & enrich a child’s primary educational experience in a wholistic way. Our playhouse is a place where kids can truly just be kids. They are encouraged to move around, be active, & explore the many toys & learning manipulatives that spark their curiosity. At Glowbug’s Playhouse, we offer supervision and care as well as supplemental educational and extracurricular opportunities for all students, whether homeschooled or educated in a traditional setting. We believe that “Play” is a child’s work, and they learn best through play. We want to provide the opportunities for them to explore things they might not be able to, otherwise, and do so in a safe & supervised way.

We are a children’s attraction that also provides various community events for children as well, such as Summer Weekly Camps & Day Camp programs during school breaks. We offer various classes & events throughout the year for children and grownups as well. Ultimately, our facility will provide a central location and meeting space for various community groups, specifically for local homeschool families to have the ability to have regular, weekly, cooperative group classes and socialization. We will also be planning community events for families to interact and do fun things together.

Most importantly, Glowbug’s Playhouse provides Stone County with an opportunity for fun and entertainment without families being required to drive to another city or county to do so.
